It was a late night back in the 1980's when I sat down with my now deceased father and watched an unknown movie entitled "The Creator". I changed that evening because so many issues about faith and future were summed up in the relationships and the softness of the movie. I still show it in the VHS version to my students in my trainings as a family therapist. Some of the negative reviews are clearly not understanding the depth of the movie and the dynamics that play out as truth becoming simple and yet so profound. As an alumni of Duquesne University, there is quantitative research and qualitative research. If you dismiss this classic story then the "identified villain" is your sponsor of quantitative research and your pursuit of "small pictures" I hope will feed your confused soul. Fear in the place of emotional integrity happens everyday when we justify our "spectator" ship as goal when the game is on the field. Peter was never a struggling actor in his career and to imply that is just foolish ignorance. To follow quality in life's research is the point to the picture. To criticize a messy kitchen after a good meal is just ungrateful and a dis-ease of today's pathetic stance in society. Mr. Spano, Ms. Madsen and Ms. Hemmingway showed human qualities, not cookie cutter textbook acting.

If the opportunity would present itself, I would love the chance to assist in the sequel to this heart-expanding movie.

Always a hand raised to Peter and his crew in the making of this gem of a movie experience.
