    Palmer Marshall is a struggling engineering student who is flailing through his personal life, classes, and career. He is on the cusp of a potentially huge discovery and he devotes every waking moment to the challenging, and often fruitless, pursuit of creating something that might change the world. But Palmer soon learns that the road to success is long and fraught with failure. Despite crippling anxiety and personality disorders, Palmer perseveres and creates the one, the dream machine, that he'll be remembered for.

This may very well be THE most boring sci-fihorror movie that I've ever seen. More than halfway into the movie, you're still waiting for something... ANYTHING... to happen. I couldn't take any more of the main character's constant whining and snivelling. He's like a four year old in an adult (barely) body.

Go watch grass grow. Go watch paint as it dries. Go watch cows chewing cud and farting copiously in a pasture. Any of those options would seem endlessly fascinating compared to this snoozefest.
