After a fantastic day of marathon viewingsXI decided to close the final day of the Soho Horror Film Festival by watching the shortest feature film in the line-upXand examining this variant.

Wisely kept to a trim 41 minute runtime, art directorco-special effects creator (with James Bell & Matt Jefferson) writerdirector Joe Meredith offers up the joyful sight of him digging his hands into sticky splatter practical effects, with Meredith making this alien infection bring gory killings and gloopy burning red blood be splashed across the screen.
Although the plot is kept rather hazy, director Meredith places the emphasis on the Shot On Video format, with the alien variant spreading a wonderfully raw, grubby atmosphere from the warm SOV fuzzXwhich gives the gore a great roughXhandmade appearance as a new variant is created.
