Halloween night, an old house, a group of stoned guys, drugs and gorgeous chicks...and a deadly alien invasion that falls from the sky to make a hell of a party.
|
On Halloween night cheaply made aliens come to earth. A bunch of guys are having a party with drugs and hookers. They await the arrival of Renni, who has the drugs and gets infected by an alien along the way. Meanwhile an angry girlfriend (and company) of a guy at the party is on her way there too.
The alien infection is a slime infusion and combines with things to make diverse looking aliens. The film starts out smartly with good misdirection humor changing the mood of a scene by simply changing the tune. It is the new hip humor style...that is at least a few decades old, but it worked very well. And then they stopped with the humor and turned this is into a drippy tragic love story with the sad piano music. They made the film pathetic and difficult to watch after a great beginning.
The way they can kill the aliens was silly, almost as silly as "Puberty Love." (Kudos if you got that cult classic reference without Google.) However, it wasn't as funny.
Guide: F-word, sex. No nudity. I watched the film in Italian with English subtitles.
