Lost deep in the forest of the Pacific Northwest, Ashley and Max Carr are stalked by a terrifying creature that might be Bigfoot. Soon they find themselves embroiled in a strange land of Native American myth and legend turned real. Hopelessly trying to survive, with a handful of unsavory locals, they must fight back against this monster in a desperate battle of life or death.

Review:

This movie had a lot of good stuff in it. Hard to do on a low budget. A bit too much effort went into the special effects and gore. To be expected when the movie maker is an FX artist. There are plot holes gaps in the story that it would have been nice to have explained. However the movie would have been three hours long if they had. The ending does lend itself to a sequel. Three more Bigfoots showing up. Also, will the wife have a BF baby?

The killing of Bigfoot by the husband is my reason for my 8 rating. BF is wounded several times throughout the movie and won't die. The man kills the monster villain and goes on to overkill crushing it's head repeatedly with a rock. How many monster slasher flicks would have had a better outcome if the hero heroine had done this to their attacker(s)?
