A motley group of addicts attend a rehabilitation program at an isolated farm to get sun, relax and consume the drugs and alcohol they smuggled in. Unfortunately and unbeknownst to them, the farm is infested with zombies and these aren't your usual slow moving, lumbering zombies. These blood suckers run fast!

It should be said that t his 2018 movie is low budget, but don't be so quick to write it off just on that account. There are far worse low budget zombie movies out there, and it was clear that the people behind this movie definitely had their hearts and spirits with them in the project.
"Anonymous Zombie" didn't bring anything new to the zombie genre, so don't expect anything innovative to pass on the screen. But the movie makers did fare well enough with the material that they had to work with from writers Adam Bunce and Richard MacQueen.
Now, the special effects in the movie were low budget and low key, for sure. But again, I will say that they managed to pull it off well enough. The special effects served their purposes well enough, despite being cheap.
What didn't work so well in the movie was the sounds that the zombies were making. I am not a fan of zombie making growling or snarling sounds, which makes them sound like predatory large cats. It is just idiotic. And also the fact that the zombies were running and agile, now that is a no-go in the zombie lore for me, personally.
