The Gambler, a drama masquerading as a superhero film just because a kid dreams a couple of sequences where his dad (Anson Paul) plays a card-throwing superhero, is top-notch in its capability to put its viewers to sleep thanks to its aimless plot, a lethargic central character (and the actor), and an overall dull atmosphere all of which should be blamed on director Tom Emmatty's empty vision. TN.
PS: The IO! Card Game that the film advertises is nowhere to be found.
